Bamboo Bracelet handcrafted in Kyoto, Japan - feather-light and warm against the skin.
In the bamboo groves west of Kyoto, the workshop of Nagaoka Meichiku tends and crafts kyo-meichiku - the famous ornamental bamboos of Kyoto prized for centuries in tea houses and temples: pale shirotake, sesame-speckled gomadake, and tortoise-shell kikko-chiku. Every piece is cut, cured and finished by hand by Kyoto bamboo craftsmen.
HAKU - a bangle of pale shirotake bamboo strips woven with freshwater-pearl accents. Feather-light, warm against the skin, adjustable to about 19 cm.
